Enrollment Process
NLCS Fee Schedule
Registration & Book Fees
Registration and book fees are non-refundable and due upon initial enrollment. For families re-enrolling, registration and book fees will be due in July. Payment of these fees reserves a class placement for the registered student.
- Registration: $150/year for all programs
- Book Fees: $250/year, for full-time students
Annual Tuition
Tuition invoices are emailed monthly and include a convenient method of paying online. Tuition may be paid annually, or in ten or eleven monthly payments (August - June). Please see the Tuition charts below for each program and grade-specific tuition rates. Monthly payments are due on or before the 5th of each month, and a $10 late fee may be assessed for any late payments. A charge of $25 will be added for any check returned by the bank. If a student is unenrolled, payment will be due for the remainder of the current quarter. Please contact the office for a personalized payment plan that will fit your family’s needs.
Tuition Scholarships
Tuition scholarships for full-time students may be available and are awarded annually. Scholarships are generally awarded at no more than 50% of expected tuition. Contact the office for the scholarship application.
Family Fundraising & Volunteer Hours
Volunteer Hours - each family must make themselves available to serve the school in some way by mowing school lawns, driving for field trips, classroom assistance, janitorial duties, typing, helping with fundraising efforts, event committees, etc... Twenty-four hours of volunteer hours are required to meet the family obligations.
● A one time full payment may be made instead of working volunteer hours. Please contact the school office to discuss this option.
Fundraising - Each family annually commits to raising $710 through any combination of fundraising and scrip percentage earned. Families may choose to
complete their requirement entirely through fundraising, through scrip, or a combination of both.
Fundraising generally includes raising pledges for events such as Jog-a-thon, and selling tickets for different school events/fundraisers, such as the Fall Auction or School Raffles.
Scrip is a fundraising program whereby participating merchants donate a percentage of a purchase to a customer’s school or organization of choice. School families may purchase gift cards from a variety of businesses at the school office, and a percentage of those purchases is applied to the fundraising/scrip requirement. Friends and relatives may also purchase scrip toward a family’s school commitment. Scrip may be purchased by cash or check only. Contact the school office for the most up to date information regarding participating merchants.
● A one time full payment may be made instead of fundraising. Please contact the school office to discuss this option.
At the end of the school year, payment will be due for any unmet fundraising and volunteer hour requirements.
