NLCS Fee Schedule

● Registration & Book Fees are non-refundable and due upon initial enrollment and re-enrollment each year; payment of these fees reserves a class placement for the registered student.

● Annual tuition is per student and typically divided into ten monthly payments (August - June). Tuition is due on the 5th of each month, unless other arrangements have been made.

● *Fundraising/Scrip and *Volunteer Hours (TK-12th) are annual requirements per family. We rely on these programs to help keep our tuition low and our school running smoothly. If you'd like to opt out of any of our fundraising, scrip, and volunteer requirements, you may pay the equivalent value instead.

Payment Schedule

Payment arrangements can be made in the School office. E-mail invoices are sent out monthly and include a convenient way to pay online. Enrollment fees are due August 5th unless other arrangements have been made. Fees include books and materials for the upcoming school year, as well as a technology fee. Tuition may be paid yearly, by semester, or in 10 monthly payments with the first being due by September 5th (July and August can also be used for payments if needed). If you withdraw your child, payment must be made for the full quarter. Monthly payments are due on or before the 5th of each month. A $10 fee will be assessed for late payments.  A charge of $25 will be added for any check that is returned by the bank.

Volunteer Hours

Twenty-four (24) volunteer hours are required per family. Examples of volunteer activities: helping with the school’s Fall Auction, baking for the school dessert auction, working at the school’s fireworks booth, helping to coach a sports team, working on our website, helping with classroom maintenance, et cetera. A cash payment of $10.00 for each hour not worked may be made. ($240/year total value) Any volunteering commitment balance that remains due at the end of the year will be added to the June invoice.

Fundraising/Scrip

A total commitment of $710 is required of each family annually through any combination of approved fundraising and scrip percentage earned. Families may choose to complete their requirement entirely through fundraising, through scrip, or a combination of both.

Fundraising generally includes raising pledges for events such as Jog-a-thon, and selling tickets for different school events/fundraisers, such as the Fall Auction or School Raffles.

Scrip is a fundraising program whereby participating merchants donate a percentage of a purchase to a customer’s school or organization of choice. School families may purchase gift cards from a variety of businesses at the school office, and a percentage of those purchases is applied to the fundraising/scrip requirement. Friends and relatives may also purchase scrip toward a family’s school commitment. Scrip may be purchased by cash or check only. Contact the school office for the most up to date information regarding participating merchants.

Medical Guidelines

State law requires all preschool and kindergarten students to have all required immunizations prior to the start of school. Those entering seventh grade must provide documentation noting current immunization records. Forms and more information are available in the school office.

Check-in Policy

To ensure the safety of our children, we are asking that visitors check in at the office. Any students arriving at school after 8:30a.m. will need to check in at the office before going to class. If your student will be absent, leave early, etc., please call the office (not the teacher). Finally, anyone wishing to attend NLCS Chapel services should call the office ahead of time and make arrangements. Thank you for your cooperation!
