New Life Christian School is a non-denominational community Christian school. Originally formed in 1976.
New Life Christian School offers classes for Preschool through Grade twelve. Classes are small and individual teachers are qualified for their positions and are prayerfully and carefully selected.
We believe students thrive in small classes where teachers can provide personalized attention to help each student achieve to his/her highest God-given potential.
Students are encouraged to find their place in ministry and given opportunity to minister in chapel and at various times throughout the school year. Of our high school graduates, figures show that over 90% are in active ministry in the churches they attend as adults. Stressing a Bible Integrated Program with strong Academics.
Achievement Tests are administered in the Spring of each year. Students perform very well in comparison to the national norms.
The curricula, taught by a qualified Christian faculty, allows parents to provide their children with academic instruction consistent with the Christ-centered teaching at home and at church.
Our School Doctrines
Our objective is not to emphasize any one denomination, but to promote the fundamental truths of the Bible. Our goal is the promotion of the “Word of God” and not a denomination. Chapel Services are held weekly. Devotions are held daily.
The Bible is the core of our teaching and the Christian philosophy permeates every phase of the school. The primary focus is upon assisting parents in training young people to live lives which glorify God.
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to work with the home and church to provide a Christ-centered spiritual, academic, and physical foundation in a safe, nurturing environment to produce godly men and women who are a transforming influence in their world.
Specifically, the mission of New Life Christian School is to provide a sound academic education integrated with a Christian view of God and the world based upon the authoritative and infallible Word of God. This educational program is designed for children from preschool through grade twelve whose parents are committed to a personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible is specific in stating the principles which underlie Christian education. The apostle Paul presented a comprehensive principle when he wrote of Christ, “For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible, and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:16-17).” The Gospel of John states, “Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made (John 1:3).”
Functioning as an extension of the Christian home, NLCS supports parents who believe God has led them to put their children in our school based upon Deuteronomy 6:7-8. Because the Christian approach to learning differs significantly from the secular viewpoint, NLCS offers a curriculum from a God-centered view of life. This view holds that God’s truth is the standard for all truth.
